Chess

The most popular board game in the World is Chess.  If you love to play Chess or would like to learn how to play or improve your game, we have two different opportunities that might be of interest.  We have an informal Chess Club which meets here at the HTTTC each Tuesday night at 6pm.  Come play and learn, Chess Master Greg Bailey may stop by.

The othe chess opportunity is TCChess, organized by Chris Courtright.  They meet here every Sunday from 12 pm until 4 pm for Chess Lessons.  Lessons from noivce, beginner to advanced.  In addition TCChess will hold a monthly Tournament.  The next Tournament will be held this Sunday May 4th.  There will be Rated and Unrated divisions competing in a (4) Round Swiss System - Game in 45 minutes.  Registration was between 9 am & 10 am with the Tournament starting promptly at 10 am.
